Case: BCPS-09-03/Winder, GA.
Investigation conducted on 4-19-2009
This case involved
one of our former investigators, Chris and his family of five. They are renting the house that they currently occupy. Chris
and his wife had just had a new baby. Prior to the birth of their child there had not been any paranormal activity in
the home.
After the birth of thier child they started to experience
strange noises and sounds in their home. His wife, Ashley was the one that first noticed the activity. Chris brought this
to my attention. He had conducted several recordings in the home after the activity had started. Being new to the
group he was not sure of what he was picking up on his recorder.
We
analyzed the recordings and found that there was something on the recordings that needed to be looked into. We set up
the investigation on 4-19-2009. During the investigation Chris, Laura & myself were in the living-room
conducting an EVP session. On two occasions during the session we heard muffled voices in the room with us. The
voices were later found on the recorders and were addressing Chris.
In
the master bedroom while conducting an EVP session, we were hearing footsteps coming from the kitchen area.
Then, in the bedroom, the baby monitor began to make a soft strange static sound but then quickly faded. After reviewing the
audio we were able to capture a voice of a male say that his name was Paul.
We did not capture anything visual on our cameras but did experience a strange occurrence with the wireless camera
in the kitchen. The receiver was placed near the camera to try and prevent any outside interference and a cable was ran to
the DVR system. Shaun Brown and JJ (Guest Investigator) were monitoring the cameras at the base in the garage. We
were conducting the EVP session in the master bedroom when the camera began to act up. This was around the same
time that we captured the voice on the recorder and the baby monitor began to make the odd noises.
After that the house went quiet and we had no further occurrences.
After the review of the evidence B.C.P.S. determined that Chris and his family
were not experiencing a haunting, but what could be called a visitation. The male's name that was captured in the master
bedroom was the name of his Grandfather that had passed away years earlier. We also captured a female's voice along with the
male stating, "We're Staying" on an EVP when we were trying to cleanse the house of harmful
spirits. We believe that this female voice may have been his grandmother that too, had passed away.
This female's voice was also picked up in the living room on Laura's video cameras
audio stating, "I LOVE CHRIS", along with the male voice that stated, "Who do I talk to, Christopher?"
Since the investigation Chris and his family have not experienced any further activity.
