BARROW COUNTY GHOST HUNTERS UPDATE SECTION.   The B.C.P.S. is looking for Historical locations to investigate in Barrow & the surrounding counties.   Historical locations are our focus for this year, but we are still here to help private residences as well. So if you know of places in the Downtown Winder, Auburn, Statham, Bethleham, or own locations in these areas & are courious if there is paranormal activity present. Let us know we would love to help you find out. We would like for you to meet two new members of the BCPS team Sierra Barrett & Kim Jones. Sierra has been our unnamed medium that has helped us on several cases. She now has joined the team officially. Kim will be joining us as our Public Relations/Historical Researcher. We look forward to working with them both. We are still working hard to provide you with evidence of the paranormal in Barrow. We have expanded our site to be able to provide the public with that evidence. Welcome to the Barrow County Ghosthunters web site. I am Lead Investigator W.A.Colley founder of the Barrow County Paranormal Society. We here at the B.C.P.S. investigate unexplained events through scientific means to try and determine if paranormal occurances are actully occuring or if the causes can be explained by natural occurances.  I founded the B.C.P.S. back in March of 2006 after experiencing some unexplainable occurances in my own home. For years I was a skeptic, not believing in ghosts. My wife on the other hand stated we had a ghost in our house. I tried to explain the sounds of walking upstairs we were hearing, the television turning off, doors being closed when we knew they had been left open as natrual occurances.  In Feb of 2006 things got out of hand and one morning my wife said she had had enough. In our bedroom it sounded as if someone was running back and forth through the upstairs. My wife spoke into the air and told whatever it was to go away and leave us alone.  That was it after that the house was quiet. No sounds of footsteps, no tv turning off, no doors being opened or closed. The presence of being watched that my wife had felt. It was gone.  That was when I became a believer in the paranormal and decided that this should be looked into. Thus the B.C.P.S. was formed. We conduct investigations in the Barrow County area, but also serve the Northeast Georgia Area. We have placed some of the evidence that has been collected from past investigations on this site.  We conduct scientific investigations using nightvision cameras, audio recording equipment, EMF detectors etc. If you feel that you may have something happening in your home, business or on your property that you can't explain and would like to try and find out what the cause of the disturbance is, we would love to try and help.
